Creative Roots Club - Clay Trinket Dishes - September 18

Welcome to the Creative Roots Club! These classes are geared towards older kids, 12-16; where they'll start diving deeper into the art process with slightly longer classes, new tools and more techniques!

Clay Trinket Dishes - teens will learn how to roll out their own slabs of clay to create 3 ring/trinket dishes. They'll learn different techniques on how to create texture, carving and sculpting their additions. All 3 dishes will be decorated with underglazes and kiln fired. These will be picked up at a later date.

Dress for a mess! Both clay and pottery glazes wash out of clothing with just water, but we still recommend wearing something you don't mind getting dirty. We also highly recommend not wearing any rings, bracelets, watches, etc. that are valuable. Clay can easily make its way into small spaces that will not be easy to clean.

AGES 12-16 WORKSHOP is from 4:30pm-6pm

This workshop is a drop-off class. Registration is required and class is limited to 10 teens.

All clay projects MUST be kiln-fired and will be available for pick-up in approximately 2 weeks. Please see our Project Pick-Up page for pick up procedures.
