Who is Urban Anchor Design and why do I see it popping up in places?
Don't worry, it is us!
We've been operating as Urban Anchor Design Studio since December 2015. That's 11 years!
Due to the multiple counties, schools and organizations that Urban Anchor Design Studio is a registered vendor with; along with 11 years of pop up vendor events, emails sent, business cards handed out, we decided to keep it up and running.
Anchor & Bloom is the name we gave our Greenhouse space, and we're combining things together as needed, a little at a time. While all of our social media handles have all been changed to Anchor & Bloom, all of Urban Anchor Design's email address are fully running, our name will still be on flyers for events scheduled prior to the new name, and charges on your bank statements will still show as "Urban Anchor Design"

Where is the Greenhouse located?
Anchor & Bloom Greenhouse is located at Lanza's Nursery in Wall Township, NJ. The Greenhouse is attached to the front retail garage of the nursery.
Is the Greenhouse open for walk-ins?
Right now the Greenhouse is only open for scheduled events. Registration is required to attend any class or workshop.
How do I pick up a project that was left to be kiln-fired?
Please visit our Project Pick-Up page for all the information needed on picking up projects. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Anchor & Bloom. Lanza's Nursery is a separate entity and will not be able to assist you.
Can I rent the Greenhouse?
Our Greenhouse is currently not available for outside personal or business rentals. Anchor & Bloom does offer private workshops for small groups. Please reach out for more information.
What do I wear to a workshops?
Our motto has always been the more mess your making, the more fun your having! We recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting messy. Some materials we work with wash off with just water, while some may stain clothing. We always have aprons available if needed.
We also recommend that you dress with the farm in mind since the Greenhouse is on a working flower nursery. We highly recommend footwear that does not have a heel and dress weather appropriate.
Can I brings drinks and snacks?
Yes! Drinks are always welcome. We just ask that they are in a lidded cup to prevent spills. Adult only workshops can BYOB.
As for snacks, we ask not bring them to any kids classes due to potential allergies, time limitations, and the risk of them mixing with project materials.
Adult workshops and private events may brings snacks as long as they are mess free. We do highly suggest avoiding any food with clay workshops.
How many people are in a workshop?
Each workshop has a different max capacity and will be listed in the class description. Overall greenhouse capacity is 18 guests for private events.
Kids workshop max capacity will vary from 8-10 depending on the project.
Adult workshop max capacity will vary from 6-14 depending on project.
I registered for a workshop but now can't attend. What do I do?
We understand life happens! If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know so we can offer the open spot to someone on the wait list.
All classes and workshops are non-refundable, but you'll be able to use your credit towards a future event.
Refunds are only available if Anchor & Bloom cancels a workshop. There are no exceptions to this policy.
